A 6 week block of Hatha Yoga is starting at Happy Body Studio on Wednesday 14th November with Gillian Sandilands.
The class is particularly suitable for beginners, the postures will be clearly explained and held for several breaths. You will leave the class feeling refreshed, relaxed and rejuvenated.
Hatha Yoga is known as the root of all other forms of yoga. At this Hatha class you will have the opportunity to practice a variety of asanas (yoga postures). The class will also explore pranayama (breathing exercises). Each class will explore different themes related to yoga philosophy.

I caught the fitness bug and started teaching 27 years ago! Since then I have dabbled in aerobics, step, and a variety of Les Mills programs, including the very first Bodypump training in Scotland in 1997. After having my 3 daughters I trained as a Pilates Teacher in 2007 and more recently discovered my love of Yoga. I successfully completed my 200 hour yoga alliance training and level 3 diploma in Hatha Yoga. Yoga has given me a new challenge and reignited my passion for teaching. I can’t wait to share that with my clients.
